Should I switch savings accounts?

Should I move my money to a higher-interest online savings account?
Sounds like a no-brainer, but there's a catch: It takes a few days to move the money to the new account. During that time you will not earn a dime. To figure out whether you should switch accounts, just punch in the numbers, and we'll take it from there.
Amount  The amount of money you want to transfer
Current Savings Account APY   %The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) that your money is earning now (e.g., 4.0)
New Savings Account APY   %The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) that your money will earn in the new account (e.g., 5.5)
Days to Transfer MoneyThe total number of days it takes to move the money to the new account (*). Leave blank if you just want to compare the investment returns for two savings accounts with different APYs.
(*) Check with your banks how long it takes to withdraw and deposit money. It often takes 1-3 business days to transfer the money from the current savings account to a linked checking account, and an additional 1-3 business days to transfer the money from the linked checking account into the new savings account. Enter the sum of the two numbers.
